Q
Do I need a reservation to take a tour?
A
No, you do not. If seating is available, you can purchase a ticket on the day of the tour right up to departure time. You can check availability by calling us or visiting a Fujikyuko bus ticket counter.
Q
What is your cancellation fee?
A
We charge a ¥100 cancellation fee (per ticket per tour). If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, however, that agency might charge a fee of its own.
Q
Can I get a pre-assigned seat?
A
No, sorry, we do not offer pre-assigned seats. Your tour guide will give you a seating card when you board the bus. Please sit in the seat specified on your card.
Q
What about children younger than that?
A
There is no charge for children who are not yet in primary school. However, the child is to sit on your lap, without his or her own seat. If this is unrealistic, then we ask that you pay child fare for a seat.
Q
Do you offer discounts for disabled people?
A
Yes. A disabled person (defined as a person having a Class 1 or 2 disability as verifiable within his/her disability passbook), together with one caregiver, can each ride at half fare. In this case, we can only accept reservations by phone (not online). Also, please bring that person’s disability passbook with you.
Q
Does the Fuji Five Lakes Sightseeing Bus always operate, no matter what?
A
Even if there is only one passenger, the tour goes on. However, it is possible that a tour will be cancelled because of bad weather, an emergency inspection or some other situation. In such a case we will refund your fare in full.

Q
Can I leave the tour midway through?
A
Yes, you may leave the tour at one of our normal stops. However, we cannot refund any bus fare/admission fees the remainder of your tour. If you do decide to leave the tour, please be sure to inform your tour guide!
If you are on the Mount Fuji 5th Station AM Course and decide to leave your tour at Mount Fuji 5th Station, you can return from there to either Kawaguchiko Station or Mt. Fuji Station by public transport bus on that day or the next day.
Note that, however, because these buses are public (and thereby do not have reserved seating), you might have to stand for the whole trip.

Live guidance is provided only in Japanese. However, you are welcome to use our automated multilingual guidance system, available in English, Chinese or Thai.
